Role & responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely calculation of salaries, allowances, incentives, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Handle statutory compliances including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, Gratuity, and Bonus.
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual statutory returns and liaise with government authorities.
- Reconcile payroll data with finance and prepare payroll MIS reports.
- Administer Full & Final (F&F) settlement for exited employees.
- Maintain payroll records, employee data, and confidential information with integrity.
- Resolve employee queries related to salary, deductions, tax, and benefits.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Compliance teams for smooth payroll operations.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Indian payroll laws, income tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll software (SAP, Oracle, GreytHR, Keka, Zoho Payroll, or equivalent).
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
