About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our global payroll team. In this role, you will oversee payroll operations across APAC ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee payroll experience. You will work closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors to deliver timely and compliant payroll while continuously improving processes.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the entire monthly payroll cycles across India, Australia, Japan, and Singapore.
- Ensure accurate payrolls for new hires, exits, promotions, transfers and all types of variable pays.
- Conduct audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR and different stakeholders on onboarding documentation, monthly variable pay, and all monthly payroll inputs.
- Monitor compliance with local payroll legislation and tax requirements.
- Maintain up to date employee records in HRIS/payroll systems and support all employee payroll related inquiries.
- Partner with third-party vendors and provide global payroll backup support.
- Identify process improvements and strengthen payroll system controls.
- Deliver professional customer service to employees and internal stakeholders.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Human Resources or related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of payroll experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong execution skills, analytical mindset, and attention to details with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Multilingual ability (Japanese, Italian, French, German, or Dutch) is a plus.
Tools & Skills You'll Bring:
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis).
- Experience with Workday and Cloudpay is a plus.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and handle sensitive data with professionalism and confidentiality.
