Overview

We are seeking an experienced Europe Payroll Specialist with strong hands-on exposure to managing payroll for at least two European countries. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of country-specific payroll processes, statutory regulations, compliance requirements, and end-to-end payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll operations for assigned European countries (minimum two from: Poland, UK, Sweden, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Romania, Spain, France, Czechia)

    • Ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing as per local statutory regulations

    • Validate payroll inputs, reconcile data, and resolve discrepancies

    • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors across Europe

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports and statutory filings

    • Stay updated with country-specific payroll laws, tax changes, and labor regulations

    • Respond to employee payroll queries with accuracy and timeliness

    • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation

    • Drive process improvements and automation opportunities within payroll operations

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 6+ years of end-to-end payroll experience

    • Mandatory hands-on exposure to at least two European countries (from the list above)

    • Strong understanding of statutory compliance, tax rules, and labor laws in Europe

    • Experience working with global payroll systems (SAP / Workday / ADP / Oracle etc.)

    • Advanced Excel and payroll reporting experience

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

    • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global setup

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling multi-country payroll consolidation

    • Knowledge of HRIS tools (Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.)

    • Experience with SOX compliance & payroll audits
