Job Description:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees.
  • Maintain payroll records, employee data, and time/attendance inputs.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Income Tax, PF, ESI, Gratuity, PT, etc.).
  • Calculate and process variable pay components such as incentives, overtime, arrears, bonuses, reimbursements, and allowances.
  • Handle Full & Final settlement of resigned/terminated employees.
  • Reconcile payroll reports with Finance and generate payroll-related MIS reports.
  • Coordinate with HR for new joiners, exits, and employee data updates.
  • Respond to employee queries on salary, tax deductions, and payslips.
  • Ensure payroll audit readiness and participate in internal/external audits.
  • Stay updated with payroll legislation, tax updates, and compliance requirements.
  • Work with vendors (if applicable) for payroll software or outsourced payroll services.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, HR, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software (ADP, Darwinbox, Workday, etc.).
  • Understanding of tax laws and statutory compliances.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll reporting.
