JOB DETAILS
Reporting to: Regional Sales.
Weekly off: Alternate Saturday.
Work Location: Autonagar, Vijayawada.
Districts to manage: in East & West Godavar (Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam).
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
Essential Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering.
Desired Qualification:
- Masters Qualification.
Work Experience:
- Total 8+ years of relevant experience in the industry. Proven work experience working as sales engineer in Automobile Sector.
Preferred Industry Experience:
- Automobile engineering like Commercial Vehicles, Passenger Vehicles, Three-Wheeler, Tractor Industry or related fields.
Preferred Technical Skills and Certification:
- Knowledge of financing process and support, effective sales strategies and best practices.
- Knowledge of dealership's vehicles, finance options, sales process and management.
- Experience in sales of motor vehicle sales.

You will be working as the Area Sales Engineer / Officer in our Commercial Vehicles - Sales & Marketing. WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE IN THE ROLE:
You will work towards generating retail sales business for 3-Wheeler commercial vehicle in your assigned territory, ensure achievement of retail volumes and bring in more business to the company through dealer network in the territory.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Generating sales for commercial vehicles in specified territory and managing primary as well as secondary channel network to achieve retail volume as per the target.
- Planning and implementing effective sales promotional activities for generating inquiries to meet set territorial business targets.
- Developing buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers, meeting prospects at community activities, responding to inquiries, recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
- Conducting effective inquiry monitoring in coordination with dealers and their sales staff to track prospect buyers and enhance conversion rates.
- Understanding buyer's requirement and interest, building rapport and closing sales by overcoming objections.
- Completion of billing process by timely collection of payment from the dealers and effectively coordinating in tracking defaulters.
- Effective inventory management at the dealers end and pursuing profitable tie ups with financial institutions to meet targets.
- Documenting channel partners non-adoption of organizational policies or adoption of malpractices and violating company standards and reporting to the Regional Manager.
- Evaluating competitors new products and their BTL activities conducted in the territory by comparing competitive models.
- Striving to improve performance and delivery of network partners through constant guidance and reviews.
- Ensuring that workshops and showrooms infrastructure follow the CI norms.
- Assisting talent selection as per the channel requirement, coordinating with the RTCs to address training requirements by organizing OJT and ensuring retention of quality trained manpower.

- Demonstrates good eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity and attention to details to be able to inspect vehicles properly.
- Should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written for better coordination with customers and team members.
- Ability to identify obstacles to designing value-added solutions and finds creative ways to overcome them.
- Ability to identify viable alternatives for meeting customers needs cost-effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to design solutions to address customers key priorities and adapts solutions, as needed, to changing customer and market demands.
