Ginger Healthcare is one of the fastest growing medical advisory companies in India. We work closely with leading superspecialty hospitals in India like Apollo, Medanta, Fortis etc. We cater to the international marketing efforts of our hospital partners in US, Europe, Africa, GCC, CIS and South Asian countries.

At present, we are looking for a talented market researcher to join our office in Guwahati, to help in data driver secondary research on market trends, and contributing through publications on credible platforms.

Role Overview

The candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, reviewing academic literature, analyzing market data, and contributing to research-based publications and whitepapers.

This role is ideal for PhD scholars or doctorates who are passionate about research, publication, and the application of academic thinking to business and marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive secondary research across academic and industry sources.
  • Perform structured literature reviews on topics such as marketing, consumer decision-making, and international service behavior.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Draft and edit research reports, whitepapers, and publication-quality articles.
  • Collaborate with the management team to translate research insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure academic rigor, proper citation, and integrity across all research deliverables.

Qualifications

  • PhD (completed or pursuing) in Marketing, Management, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related non-clinical field.
  • Strong academic and analytical writing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with academic research and publication.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with papers published in reputed or top-ranked journals.
  • Familiarity with citation management tools (Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote) and academic databases (Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel or research tools such as SPSS, NVivo, or similar will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent command of English and attention to detail.
