Hotel Receptionist – Roles & Responsibilities
The hotel reception team is the first point of contact for guests, making them essential to creating a warm, professional, and memorable experience. A receptionist ensures smooth front-desk operations while maintaining the highest level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting guests with a welcoming attitude
- Handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Managing reservations and room allocations
- Answering phone calls & responding to guest queries
- Coordinating with housekeeping and other departments
- Managing payments, billing, and maintaining records
- Handling guest complaints or requests professionally
- Ensuring the lobby and reception area remain tidy and organized
- Providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and transport
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer knowledge (PMS systems, email, billing software)
- Problem-solving mindset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
