What We're Looking For

We're looking for skilled and motivated Chartered Accountants to join our global team as Associates.

As a Bluebox Associate, you'll play a key role in executing and managing the daily operations of your assigned portfolio — which may include:

• Client Engagements (as part of a delivery team), or
• Internal Business Functions (supporting HQ operations).

In both cases, you'll handle recurring and deadline-based work, maintain accuracy, and uphold Bluebox's professional standards under the supervision of a manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high quality work:

• Execute accounting, tax, payroll, or compliance deliverables as assigned.
• Maintain up-to-date records, schedules, and reconciliations.
• Ensure all work meets Bluebox accuracy and formatting standards.
• Flag issues early and work with your manager to resolve blockers quickly.

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Manage daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports in accordance with Singapore standards.
• Process payroll, CPF, GST, and tax submissions accurately and on time.
• Track deliverables across recurring, monthly, and annual cycles using Bluebox's systems.

Compliance & Regulatory Support

• Ensure that all filings (ACRA, IRAS, MOM) are completed within statutory deadlines.
• Prepare working papers, supporting schedules, and audit-ready documentation.
• Stay current with updates in Singapore's financial, accounting, and tax regulations.

Internal Coordination & Reporting

• Update task progress and deadlines in relevant systems.
• Work cross-functionally with other teams to close loops quickly.
• Maintain document hygiene to ensure every task is fully traceable from start to finish.
• Escalate risks or blockers early to Managers and support corrective action.

Communication & Client Interaction

• Communicate professionally with clients (for client-facing roles) and internal stakeholders (for HQ roles).
• Draft clear, factual emails, update logs, and ensure all correspondence is properly documented.
• Keep Managers informed on progress, no silent delays.
• Participate in review calls or client updates when required.

Learning & Growth

• Participate actively in Bluebox's structured training on Singapore laws, accounting standards, and internal SOPs.
• Learn how different service lines (finance, HR, compliance, commercial) fit together.
• Build readiness to take ownership of a client portfolio or business function over time.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant certification from India with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in a client-facing role within finance and accounting.
• Expertise in managing end-to-end accounting and financial operations, with a deep understanding of financial reporting, taxation, and auditing.
• Advanced proficiency in various accounting software like Xero and Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of fostering strong client relationships in a remote work environment.
• Quick learner, open to upskilling and adapting to Singapore's financial regulations and practices.

• Salary: ₹3,60,000 per year (Net in-hand pay with no deductions).
