We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the Sales & Marketing department of Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Bihta, Patna, Bihar. The ideal candidate will be responsible to meet & exceed export/import (EXIM) Sales targets, including field level market research to tap market potential. Candidate will need to travel extensively meeting exporters, importers and customs house agents (CHAs) in Bihar & neighbouring states to sell EXIM facilities of ICD Bihta including Rail/Road transportation, customs facilities, and warehousing. Job profile will include sending rate quotations to customers and sales collections. This role requires a highly self-motivated and committed individual who can take the initiative for seeking business opportunities in a greenfield market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Marketing:

  2. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to grow the business.

  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share in the region.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.

  5. Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

  6. Customer Service & Rate Quotations:

  7. Address customer inquiries for rates immediately & effectively in line with the companys rate approval matrix.

  8. Coordinate with Operations & Customer Service team to ensure customers receive the service which was committed to them.

  9. Onboarding &Financial:

  10. Ensure compliance with the companys policies for onboarding new customers and ensuring proper rate & credit agreements are duly signed before starting business.

  11. Timely collection of company dues from customers.
