Email Marketing Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies across the customer lifecycle (acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention).
  • Plan, write, and optimize email campaigns including newsletters, promotional emails, onboarding flows, and triggered/automated sequences.
  • Segment audiences and personalize content to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics (open rate, CTR, bounce rate, conversions) to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, CTAs, send times, etc.
  • Maintain email list hygiene and ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other regulations.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to create visually appealing and engaging emails.
  • Use marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign) to manage and optimize campaigns.
  • Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Email Marketing Strategist, Email Marketer, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with email platforms and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong copywriting and content editing skills.
  • Solid understanding of audience segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analytics.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven marketing practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
