Job Description (Summary)
- Incharge of the bakery
- Measure and combine ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other
equipment to make bread and other flour-based good such as a variety of rolls, croissants,
doughnuts, breadsticks, puff pastries, mini pizzas, pizza dough, etc.
- Prepare and display basic cake recipes and products.
- In-order the menu for regular and buffet presentation.
- Preparing and displaying finished products.
- Assess the quality of raw materials before baking.
- Arranging baked goods and desserts in buffet area when required.
- Label and maintain all storage containers with proper labelling standards
- Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure food safety and quality control.
- Prepare products based on company recipes and own recipes.
- Designing and improving recipes.
- Maintain accurate record of baking operations.
- Manage needed supplies and inventory levels.
- Conduct research to develop original recipes for products.
- Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils.
- Ensure the bakery is clean and tidy at all times.
- Restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the
next shift
