**Responsibilities**:

- Create and prepare a variety of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes and guidelines
- Ensure that all desserts and pastries are prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, and order new inventory as needed
- Supervise junior pastry staff, providing training, guidance, and feedback as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, including cleaning equipment, organizing ingredients, and restocking supplies
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures and guidelines
- Work with other kitchen staff to coordinate dessert orders and ensure timely service
- Develop new dessert and pastry menu items based on seasonal availability, guest feedback, and culinary trends
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste, while maintaining high quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, including answering questions about ingredients and flavors
- Promote the restaurant's dessert menu and specials to guests

**Requirements**:

- Degree in pastry arts or equivalent experience in a pastry or bakery kitchen required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or bakery
- In-depth knowledge of pastry and baking techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Ability to manage inventory, supervise staff, and work collaboratively with other kitchen staff
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:
