Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement / Purchase Executive with a background in Building Construction and Textile industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, supplies, and services necessary for ongoing projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers for construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, etc.) and textile raw materials (fabrics, threads, dyes, etc.)
  • Obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders with vendors.
  • Maintain a qualified supplier database and build strong vendor relationships.

  • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.

  • Purchase Order Management

  • Process purchases requisitions from project/site engineers and production teams.

  • Issue purchase orders in line with company policy and negotiated terms.

  • Track and ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites or production units.

  • Cost Control & Budgeting

  • Ensure all purchases are within the allocated project or production budgets.

  • Monitor market trends for cost-effective sourcing options.

  • Inventory Coordination

  • Coordinate with stores and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.

  • Support stock audits and help prevent overstocking or stockouts.

  • Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all procurement processes comply with company policies and legal regulations.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records, invoices, and delivery notes for audits and reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Textile Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in procurement/purchase role in the building construction and/or

textile manufacturing sectors.

  • Excellent English communication
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and textile raw materials & processes.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of supply chain procedures and sourcing strategies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of local and international procurement standards.
  • Prior experience working with contractors, architects, and textile production teams.
