About the Opportunity
A growing healthcare provider in the tertiary care cardiology sector, delivering comprehensive interventional cardiac services and acute coronary care in Gujarat. We seek an early-career Interventional Cardiologist (Fresher DM/DrNB) to join an on-site cath lab team in Kadi, supporting PCI programs, acute MI management, and inpatient/outpatient cardiology services.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic coronary angiography and assist or perform primary PCI for STEMI and high-risk ACS under supervised transition to independent practice.
  • Manage on-call acute coronary syndrome patients, coordinate emergency cath lab activation, and provide post‑procedural care and complication management.
  • Run outpatient cardiology clinics for pre- and post-procedure follow-up, medication optimisation, and secondary prevention counselling.
  • Collaborate with cardiac surgery, anesthesiology, and critical care teams to plan complex interventions and transfer decisions.
  • Maintain accurate procedural records, ensure adherence to cath lab safety protocols, and contribute to infection control and radiation safety practices.
  • Participate in departmental teaching, quality-improvement activities, and morbidity & mortality reviews; support registry reporting and clinical audits.
Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • DM Cardiology or DrNB (Interventional Cardiology) qualification
  • Valid medical registration and eligibility to practise in India
  • Hands-on competency in coronary angiography and PCI techniques
  • Familiarity with radial and femoral vascular access approaches
  • Experience or training with intravascular imaging (IVUS) or OCT
  • ACLS certification and demonstrable acute coronary care skills

Preferred

  • Exposure to FFR/iFR physiology-guided decision making
  • Prior cath lab fellowship or focussed interventional rotations
  • Experience with device selection and management of complex coronary interventions
