Business Development Manager -Tender / Govt Bidding

Location- Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India (On-site)

Working Days - Monday to Friday, regular office hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and track government tenders / bids from e-procurement portals (GeM, CPP, State portals etc.)
  • Analyse tender documents: RFQ, BOQ, NIT etc., to understand requirements (technical, financial, legal)
  • Prepare and submit tender / proposal documents, ensuring compliance, accuracy and timely submission
  • Liaise face-to-face with clients, government departments, procurement officers to build & maintain strong relationships
  • Attend pre-bid / bid meetings and site visits where required
  • Coordinate internally with Finance, Legal, Technical / Operations teams to gather required reports, certificates, costings etc.
  • Negotiate terms & conditions where possible, follow up on bids status, clarify queries from clients
  • Maintain a database of tenders participated, outcomes, feedback, lessons learned
  • Follow up on payments / contracts once the tender is awarded

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate from Regular - (Any stream; preference for Business / Commerce / Engineering)
  • Good experience in government tendering / bid participation (5+ years preferred)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written);
  • Good interpersonal skills for client interactions
  • Good relationship management skills with clients / government departments
  • Good at documentation, attention to detail, ability to interpret tender terms & conditions
  • Basic negotiation skills
  • Comfortable doing face-to-face meetings and travel (within the city / nearby)
