Role & responsibilities


• As a production support engineer, you would be responsible for your team - for resolving the production support issues within a given SLA.

  • You would delegate your team to do the RCA for the production issues and coordinate with the development team for permanent fixes.
  • Responsible for monitoring and responding to open tickets submitted through an incident management system.
  • Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.
    • Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
  • Coordinate with Application Development Team to successfully deploy software releases in both User Acceptance Testing and Production environments.
  • Develop scripts and work with a team to automate repeatable manual tasks.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving application or infrastructure issues.

Skills Required: -

  • Knowledge of OS Linux (RHEL 6+ ) and Windows .
  • Hands on Experience on Java, Oracle, SQL, MySQL and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge on Patch deployments and App/web layer configurations (Nginx, Apache tomcat , Jboss ) .
  • Knowledge on SDLC
  • Excellent written & verbal communication
    • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good team player with the ability to deliver within schedules

Experience :

3-6 Years

Qualification : Any Graduate
