The HR Executive and Admin will play a key role in supporting the full spectrum of HR Operations, administration and compliance activities. The role ensures effective HR administration, statutory compliance, employee database management, stakeholder coordination contributing towards fostering a positive and inclusive organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities
HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records, personal files and HR databases.
  • Prepare employment letters (Offers, appointment, confirmation, transfers etc)
  • Manage employee onboarding and induction
  • Monthly Submission of medical insurance ( GMC / GPA / GTL / OPD) data to the vendor and coordination in getting the claim settlement done
  • Handle HR documentation and ensure confidentiality of information.
  • Preparation of VISA letters for stakeholders
  • Coordination with Background verification agency for conducting the background checks of the new entrants.

HRIS / Database Management

  • Maintain HR Systems and ensure data accuracy.
  • Generate the HR reports as and when required for management review (headcount / attrition / leave etc)
  • Streamline HR records to improve the accessibility and efficiency.

Compliance Management

  • Liaise with Pay Square and external agency for resolving queries related to Statutory filings (Provident fund transfer, KYC updating, UAN of new entrants in PF etc).
  • Maintain up-to-date records and registers as per statutory norms.
  • Supporting in internal and external audits related to HR and administrative functions.

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordination with cross-functional teams for smooth execution of HR and admin processes.
  • Addressing the general queries related to leave, payslips generation, medical insurance and other areas falling under the purview of human resources and raising tickets / escalating to HR Manager as and when required.

Organizational Culture & Employee Engagement

  • Lead employee celebration and event to build team engagement and recognition to strengthen company culture and values.
  • Support planning and execution of employee welfare, recognition and team building activities.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects as directed by the HR Manager of Kolkata Supply Centre in line with Company Objectives.
  • Support in implementation of complex well- being projects like Employee Assistance Programs, Engage Survey etc. Support in organizing the annual family day and any other welfare-well being agenda for employees of Twinings India.
  • Any other duties as and when required within the scope of the job.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 4-5 years' experience in HR operations
  • Familiarity with statutory compliance and Indian labour laws
  • Previous experience of working with an international business will be an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication and organisation skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
  • Proficient in excel / power point
