About the Role

We are looking for a
Business Development Executive Intern
who is energetic, confident, and eager to grow with a startup.

You will work closely with the founders on vendor onboarding, partnerships, market research, documentation, and overall business growth.

This role is perfect for someone who wants
hands-on startup experience
and loves working on multiple aspects of a business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify sustainable brands, local sellers, and eco-friendly manufacturers
  • Reach out via email, calls, LinkedIn, Instagram
  • Convince vendors to onboard and list products
  • Maintain communication and assist them through the onboarding process

2. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

  • Study trends in eco-friendly markets
  • Analyze competitor platforms and pricing models
  • Identify product gaps and new category opportunities

3. Strategic Partnerships

  • Connect with NGOs, eco-communities, sustainability pages
  • Collaborate with influencers and micro-creators
  • Explore partnership opportunities that strengthen GreenDukan

4. Funding & Investment Support

  • Assist in preparing investor pitch decks
  • Research grants, accelerator programs, startup schemes
  • Support initial outreach to investors and advisors

5. Sales & Growth Strategy

  • Suggest ideas to improve sales, conversions, and vendor performance
  • Help plan discounts, offers, and promotional activities
  • Track and analyze business growth metrics

6. Marketing Support

  • Assist in social media research and campaign ideas
  • Coordinate with influencers and content creators
  • Draft outreach templates, promotional text, and basic copies

7. Policy & Documentation

  • Draft Terms & Conditions for customers and vendors
  • Create vendor onboarding guidelines and return/refund policies
  • Maintain structured documentation for internal processes

8. CRM & Lead Pipeline Management

  • Maintain vendor and partner pipelines
  • Track follow-ups and conversions
  • Keep communication professional and timely

9. Business Analysis & Innovation

  • Conduct SWOT analysis
  • Identify business risks and opportunities
  • Suggest improvements to operations and marketplace workflow

Requirements (Must-Have)

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Good research ability
  • Confidence in outreach (email, call, chat)
  • Fluency in English & Hindi (Assamese is a plus)
  • Motivated, disciplined, and eager to learn
  • Interest in sustainability and business growth
