  • Quality Strategy & Leadership: Define the quality vision, objectives, and KPIs; build and mentor QA/QC teams.
  • Quality Management Systems: Implement and maintain ISO 9001/14001/45001 and other relevant certifications; lead internal and external audits.
  • Product & Process Quality: Oversee inspection of incoming copper/aluminium conductors and polymer compounds; ensure in-process controls (stranding, extrusion, insulation thickness, spark testing) and final product testing (electrical, mechanical, flame retardance, type tests).
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to BIS, IEC, ASTM, UL, and customer specifications; coordinate third-party inspections.
  • Supplier & Customer Interface: Qualify and monitor suppliers; manage customer complaints through root cause analysis and CAPA.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean/Six Sigma projects to reduce defects, scrap, and cost of quality; promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration with R&D: Support new product development and type approvals; validate new materials and processes.
  • Safety & Sustainability: Ensure lab and shop-floor testing meet all safety and environmental requirements.
