Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange (2016/2019) and Exchange Online
  • Experience in managing hybrid Exchange environments and Azure Active Directory
  • Office 365 administration (OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint Online)
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and mailbox management
  • Experience in managing Email gateways (Cisco, Proofpoint)
  • Deep understanding of email routing, diagnosing issues with mail flow.
  • Experience in configuring and managing clients such as Outlook, MS Teams, OneDrive etc.
  • Experience in using Exchange Management and monitoring tools.
  • Understanding about Autodiscover, Client connections and network Load -balancers.
  • Experience with M365 tools, including Security & Compliance Center, Defender for Office 365, and Exchange Admin Center
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Exchange Server and Exchange Online environments in hybrid
  • Perform daily operational tasks including monitoring, maintenance, patching, and issue resolution.
  • Follow ITIL defined processes such as incident, problem and change management that are established within the organization.
  • Lead efforts to optimize mail flow, transport rules, connectors, retention policies & Journal rules
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness of Exchange systems
  • Implement and monitor email security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS), anti-spam, and anti-phishing measures
  • Collaborate with other IT and security teams to support compliance initiatives (DLP, eDiscovery, retention policies)
  • Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting
  • Document infrastructure, procedures, and troubleshooting playbooks
