 DevOps engineer takes care of product/service development, provisioning and maintaining, as well as keeping the service profitable. Job Description: Gateway Development Requirements: Design, deploy, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based mail gateway solutions to ensure email system security, reliability, and performance. Act as a subject matter expert in various mail gateway technologies like Proofpoint, Cisco Cloud Email Security, Mimecast, and Barracuda. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mail gateway solutions with other security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM platforms. Provide expert-level support for troubleshooting complex issues related to mail gateway configurations, email routing, and message delivery. Develop and implement policies and procedures for email security, including anti-spam, anti phishing, encryption, and data loss prevention (DLP) measures. Conduct regular assessments and audits of mail gateway configurations to identify vulnerabilities, compliance gaps, and performance issues. Stay informed about emerging threats and industry trends in email security and cybersecurity and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks. Mentor junior engineers and support staff, offering guidance and training on mail gateway technologies and best practices Participate in incident response activities, including root cause analysis, remediation, and post incident reviews. Operational Requirement: Act as last escalation level for Mail Gateway incident, manage sensitive mailing issue for the company, engage communication with vendor when needed. Plan and schedule Changes. Perform RCA for Major Incidents Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective teams/individual to minimize the incidents. 5. Highlight your capacity for Inspect and adapt propose long-term remediation plan to prevent recurrent issues. Requirements: 1. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing mail gateway solutions in enterprise environments.  – 3 Global Mail – Mail Gateway Engineer Job Description: L3+ L Proficiency in multiple mail gateway technologies, with specific expertise in Cisco Cloud Email Security. Added advantage: Proofpoint, Mimecast, or similar platforms. Experience, Knowledge with Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online (EXO), including administration, configuration, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of networking principles, TCP/IP protocols, DNS, firewalls, and VPN technologies. In-depth knowledge of email security concepts, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DLP, TLS encryption, and email authentication methods. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, standards and best practices, Experience working in Agile environments and a willingness to adhere to Agile principles. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to high quality results.
