Role Overview

The Accounts & Onboarding Coach is responsible for ensuring new accounts (coaches, partners, or internal team members) are onboarded smoothly and efficiently. This role combines aspects of client/partner onboarding, coaching, account management, and process improvement. You will act as the bridge between new accounts/coaches and internal operations, ensuring clarity, compliance, and high satisfaction from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Account Onboarding & Setup

  • Guide new accounts/coaches through the onboarding process — account creation, documentation, training, platform usage.
  • Ensure all compliance checks, verifications and required documentation are completed.
  • Set up access, permissions, profile/configuration on platforms/tools.
  • Coaching & Training
  • Provide training/coaching sessions (virtual or in person) on product/platform functionalities, best practices, and processes.
  • Support new coaches/accounts to become productive quickly, helping them understand KPIs, workflows, and performance expectations.
  • Account Management
  • Maintain regular check-ins with new accounts/coaches over the first few weeks/months to monitor progress and address issues.
  • Serve as point of contact for onboarding queries, troubleshooting problems, and escalating if needed.
  • Process Improvement & Feedback Loop
  • Collect feedback from newly onboarded accounts/coaches about the onboarding experience.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and suggest improvements in onboarding documentation, tools, or workflows.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, Support, HR) to refine processes and improve time to onboard.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date onboarding checklists, materials, manuals.
  • Track key metrics such as onboarding time, dropout rate, satisfaction, account activation rates.
  • Report regularly to leadership on onboarding status, challenges, and success metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Business, Health Science, Technology, etc.) or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience in onboarding, account management, or similar roles — ideally in health-tech,
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; good at training, coaching.
  • Must be process-oriented, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling documentation and compliance tasks.
  • Tech-savvy: comfort learning new tools/platforms, helping others use them, troubleshooting minor issues.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Good problem-solving mindset; ability to adapt and iterate based on feedback.
