experienced SEO Specialist
who can take full ownership of SEO and deliver measurable results.

This is a
core in-house role
where you'll directly shape MIJA's digital growth.

Your Role & Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Roadmap

  • Build and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Define clear KPIs for organic growth, rankings, and ROI.

Keyword Research & Competitor Analysis

  • Perform in-depth keyword research for short-tail & long-tail opportunities.
  • Benchmark against competitors to identify content and ranking gaps.

On-Page SEO

  • Optimize product pages, collection pages, and blogs for maximum visibility.
  • Work on metadata (titles, descriptions, alt text, H1-H6, schema markup).
  • Ensure content is SEO-friendly without compromising on brand voice.

Technical SEO

  • Conduct regular technical audits (crawlability, indexing, sitemaps, site speed).
  • Fix issues like broken links, duplicate content, and canonical errors.
  • Ensure mobile-first optimization & Core Web Vitals compliance.
  • Optimize site architecture, internal linking, and URL structure.

Off-Page SEO & Link Building

  • Build a strong backlink profile via outreach, guest posting, PR, and partnerships.
  • Monitor toxic links & maintain high domain authority.

Content SEO & Collaboration

  • Guide content team on SEO-friendly blogs, landing pages, and product descriptions.
  • Identify content clusters & topic strategies.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track rankings, traffic, CTR, and conversions via GA4, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs.
  • Provide regular reports with actionable insights.

E-commerce SEO

  • Optimize product feed for Google Shopping.
  • Improve category pages for search visibility.
  • Work on structured data (rich snippets, product reviews, pricing, availability).

Trend Monitoring & Innovation

  • Stay updated on Google algorithm updates & SEO best practices.
  • Suggest new ideas for organic growth (voice search, local SEO, video SEO).

What we're looking for?

  • 3–6 years of SEO experience
    (e-commerce / fashion / lifestyle industry preferred).

Strong expertise
in:

  • On-page, off-page & technical SEO.
  • SEO tools: Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
  • CMS platforms (Shopify / WordPress / Magento).
  • Structured data, schema markup & Core Web Vitals.
  • Excellent understanding of
    Google algorithms
    & ranking factors.
  • Strong
    analytical mindset
    with ability to turn data into strategy.
  • Knowledge of
    local SEO, video SEO, and voice search optimization
    is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with content, design & marketing teams.
  • Passion for scaling
    organic growth in a competitive D2C space
    .
