As an
SEO & Content Specialist at Lorien Finance
, you will:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and drive qualified traffic.
  • Create search-optimized, high-quality content that resonates with Students & Parents while meeting SEO requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Product, and Loan Operations teams to ensure content aligns with business objectives and search intent.
  • Leverage SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics) and AI-powered content generation tools to maximize content performance and reach.
  • Build and maintain a data-driven content calendar that prioritizes high-impact keywords and seasonal search trends.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and implement on-page and off-page optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. SEO Strategy & Optimization

  2. Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals and seasonal application periods.

  3. Conduct keyword research to identify high-value, intent-driven opportunities in the study-abroad finance space.
  4. Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes to improve site performance, crawlability, and indexation.

  5. Monitor and analyze organic search performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools.

  6. Content Creation & SEO Optimization

  7. Write SEO-optimized blog posts that rank for target keywords while addressing student and parent pain points.

  8. Create high-conversion, search-optimized landing pages that drive loan applications.
  9. Develop keyword-rich social media content that supports overall SEO strategy and drives engagement.
  10. Craft email campaigns with SEO considerations for content repurposing and link-building opportunities.

  11. Generate website content that balances search optimization with Lorien's brand messaging and user experience.

  12. AI-Powered SEO Content Production

  13. Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT for content ideation, optimization, and scale while maintaining quality and search relevance.

  14. A/B test AI-generated content variations to optimize for both search rankings and user engagement.

  15. Use AI tools to identify content gaps and opportunities in competitor analysis.

  16. Technical SEO & Performance Optimization

  17. Optimize page load speeds, mobile responsiveness, and Core Web Vitals for better search rankings.

  18. Implement schema markup and structured data to enhance search result visibility.
  19. Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings.
  20. Ensure consistent application of SEO best practices across all digital touchpoints.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proven experience (3-6 years) in SEO and content marketing with demonstrated results in organic growth.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Search Console) and content management systems.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and search algorithm updates.
  • Experience in fintech, BFSI, or edtech sectors with knowledge of regulatory content requirements is highly preferred.
  • Ability to balance SEO requirements with compelling, user-focused content that converts.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered SEO and content tools for research, optimization, and performance tracking.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize based on insights.
