We currently have openings for 'Sales and Business Development Manager', details for the same are given below
Candidates Requirement: -
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree
- MBA in Sales/Marketing/Healthcare is preferred
Experience:
- 5–15 years of experience in healthcare sales, corporate hospital or specialty care
- Proven track record in referral network building and territory development
- Prior exposure to promoting elective surgeries or specialty treatments (like LASIK, ENT, or Cochlear implants) is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of Mumbai's medical referral ecosystem
- Comfortable with CRM systems, digital lead tools, and field reporting
- Highly self-driven, with strong planning and time management
Job Description: -
1.Focused Promotion of Key Surgical Offerings
- Lead all on-ground promotion and outreach for:
- LASIK (Laser Vision Correction)
- Cataract Surgeries
- ENT Procedures (sinus surgeries, tympanoplasty, tonsillectomy, etc.)
- Cochlear Implant Programs
- Work closely with the concerned surgical teams and heads of department to understand core value propositions, technology differentiators, and patient pathways.
2. Doctor Relationship & Referral Development
- Build strong relationships with General physicians, Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, ENT specialists, audiologists, paediatricians and other specialists who can refer cases.
- Conduct structured field visits to map referral influencers and collaborate with them through:
- In-clinic meetings
- Focused CMEs and knowledge sessions
- Relationship-building activities and service updates
- Track referral performance per doctor and territory and ensure smooth conversion of referred patients to surgeries.
3. Community Outreach & Activation
- Plan and execute localized health awareness campaigns, especially around vision and hearing health.
- Partner with:
- RWAs, senior citizen groups, schools (for pediatric ENT & cochlear implants)
- Local health kiosks and wellness aggregators
- Community leaders in identified territories
- Conduct and support Eye and ENT screening camps, pre-op counseling sessions, and awareness drives in collaboration with internal teams.
4. Digital Activation & Campaign Alignment
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing Team to:
- Run geo-targeted campaigns for LASIK, Cataract, ENT, and Cochlear surgeries
- Share on-ground insights to sharpen targeting and messaging
- Ensure real-time follow-up on inbound leads and digital enquiries
- Suggest ideas for SMS, WhatsApp, and social media creatives based on patient FAQs and objections gathered from fieldwork.
5. Business Development & Expansion
- Prepare and implement catchment-wise market development plans, starting with South Mumbai and expanding to:
- Ghatkopar
- Chembur
- Worli
- Andheri
- Santa Cruz
- Bandra
- Benchmark local competition, identify service gaps, and tap into under-penetrated localities.
6. Internal Collaboration & Reporting
- Coordinate closely with:
- Clinical teams for patient education and consultation scheduling
- Operations team for surgery slot management
- Finance for package-related clarity and affordability offerings
- Maintain structured CRM and MIS reports for:
- Lead tracking
- Source-wise performance
- Revenue contribution
- Conversion ratios
