M365 Engineer

Looking for Microsoft M365 Engineer who is a smart, engaged and a problem solver with demonstrated expertise using Microsoft's Entra and Defender Security suite and other security products to solve business problems. In addition to security expertise, a qualified candidate can assist clients with other Microsoft's Modern Workplace products such as M365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra, and Intune on an as-needed basis.

• Security Configuration and Compliance: Set up and fine-tune Microsoft 365 security configurations and compliance protocols with tools like Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Microsoft Information Protection, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Microsoft 365 Solutions support: Support other Microsoft 365 solutions beyond the security space as schedule allows (eg Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange), focusing on optimal integration and adherence to best practices.

General Responsibilities-

• Provide strategic input to identity and security architecture in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and related services.
• Collaborate with security, operations, and infrastructure teams to implement a secure-by-design configurations.
• Develop technical documentation and runbooks for compliance audits and operational transparency.
• Troubleshoot Tier 3 issues related to Defender policies/rules, Intune policy conflicts, AVD connectivity, and security misconfigurations.

Serve as the SME for identity and endpoint security.

Endpoint & Access Management

• Work with end point management team on endpoint security, compliance, device lifecycle management, and mobile application management (MAM)
• Define conditional access policies integrated with Azure AD to support compliance and security guidelines.
• Drive enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance baselines, and application deployment for Windows 10/11, iOS, and MACos

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender
• Experience with server management, including virtualization, and Windows server administration
• Experience with scripting languages, including PowerShell
• Experience with Azure in hybrid environments, Active Directory on prem and cloud, and Group Policies
• Experience implementing and managing Microsoft 365 product stack platform including but not limited to Entra ID, 365 Admin Center, SharePoint, Intune, etc.
• Microsoft 365 Entra ID Suite
• Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune, Windows 365, Azure VDI)
• Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (Purview, Collaboration, Permissions)

Pay: ₹110,000.00 per month
