  • Insure shipments with the Insurance firm as per TAT defined
  • Coordinate with branch operations for repairs, if any
  • Coordinate with insurance surveyor for goods inspection purpose
  • File claim / co-ordinate with the insurance firm for settlement
  • Ensure adherence to the SLAs and response times for insurance & claims process
  • Resolve dispute between insurance agency and shipper if any
  • Update relevant claims and insurance entries in the Company software as per defined TAT
  • Maintain trackers on insurance & claims as defined
  • Coordinate and follow-up with shipper for documentation and damage details /estimates based on the type of settlement
  • Ensure quality communication and attention to detail throughout the claims settlement process
  • Coordinate with finance to process payment
  • Follow up with the insurance company receivables team
  • Share knowledge / updates / refresher training with branch teams on the insurance & claims process
