Role & responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in the overall planning, execution, and monitoring of electrical infrastructure project.
  • Supervise the Stringing of Overhead HT and LT cables, Manage the installation and commissioning of transformers, and other electrical equipment as required.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress and timely resolution of issues.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations at all project sites.
  • Manage project resources efficiently, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, budget tracking, and documentation.
  • Foster a safe and productive working environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and quality consciousness.
  • Travel to project sites and other locations as required for project oversight and coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in managing electrical projects.
  • Proven experience with HT and LT systems, including switchgear, transformers, and associated components.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and other relevant tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
