Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Officer with a strong background in recruitment and payroll. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of labor laws, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment (Mandatory)

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
  • Draft and update job descriptions.
  • Coordinate with recruitment agencies and job portals.
  • Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate database.
  • Conduct reference and background checks.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.

Payroll (Mandatory)

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax and labor regulations.
  • Coordinate with finance and accounting departments for salary disbursements.
  • Handle employee queries related to payroll and resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage statutory contributions (e.g., PF, ESI, taxes).
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations.

Additional HR Duties:

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities and internal communications.
  • Support performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Handle employee grievances and support disciplinary procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR with a focus on recruitment and payroll.
  • Hands-on experience with HR software and payroll systems
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
