Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and driven Export Sales Specialist (Business Development Specialist – International Markets) to spearhead our global expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in FMCG (preferably food & snacks), a strong understanding of international markets, and the ability to drive growth across multiple regions including the Middle East, North America, Europe, and APAC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to enter, establish, and grow Chheda's presence in international markets.
  • Sales & Distribution: Identify, appoint, and manage international distributors, retail chains, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Partnership Development: Build and nurture strong relationships with trade partners, distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products and operations comply with international food regulations, packaging standards, and export requirements.
  • P&L Ownership: Take full responsibility for the international business vertical's profitability, revenue growth, and return on investment.
  • Trade Shows & Exhibitions: Represent Chheda's at key international trade fairs and B2B events to promote the brand and identify business opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor global consumer trends, competitive movements, and emerging opportunities in the snack food category.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing international sales & export team with clear KPIs and performance metrics.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in international business development/sales within the FMCG sector, preferably in food & snacks.
  • Familiarity with export documentation and international trade compliance is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of retail and distribution networks across global markets.
  • Experience in managing P&L, scaling international business, and entering new geographies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-cultural relationship management skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.

  • Basic knowledge of export documentation and logistics processes
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
