Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth in African and South American markets. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical export landscape, regulatory environments, and market dynamics in these regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development & Strategy:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in African and South American countries.

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, regulatory requirements, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and execute market entry strategies tailored to each country/region.

  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, importers, government agencies, and healthcare institutions.

  • Represent Classic Enterprise in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business meetings.

  • Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Drive sales targets for the assigned regions through B2B engagements.

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply terms with international partners.

  • Regulatory & Documentation Support:

  • Coordinate with internal regulatory affairs and documentation teams to ensure timely product registrations and dossier submissions.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory and import/export requirements.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the logistics, finance, production, and QA/QC teams to ensure smooth execution of export orders.

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on market performance, opportunities, and challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA in International Business or Marketing preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical exports/business development focused on Africa and South America.
  • Strong knowledge of international pharma regulations and product registration processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of French, Portuguese, or Spanish will be an added advantage.
