International Business Development Manager
to lead our global expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate will identify and develop new markets, build and manage international distributor networks, and drive revenue growth across regions. This role calls for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in expanding international operations within the
chemical, biotechnology, life sciences, and pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Market Expansion
- Identify and evaluate new international markets and business opportunities across life sciences, chemicals, and research sectors.
- Formulate and execute regional market entry and growth strategies.
2. Business Development & Sales
- Generate and manage high-value international leads through proactive outreach, networking, and client engagement.
- Oversee the complete business development cycle—from opportunity identification to contract closure.
3. Distributor & Partner Management
- Develop, onboard, and manage international distributors, channel partners, and key accounts.
- Monitor partner performance, provide training, and ensure alignment with company goals.
4. Relationship & Brand Building
- Establish long-term relationships with global customers, institutions, and strategic partners.
- Represent SRL at international exhibitions, conferences, and industry events to enhance brand visibility.
5. Strategic Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and business performance metrics.
- Present insights and growth reports to senior management for strategic decision-making.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with R&D, production, and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless order execution.
- Provide market intelligence to support new product development and localization strategies.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or Business.
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification in International Business / Marketing preferred.
Experience:
- 10–12 years of international business development or export sales experience in the
chemical, biotechnology, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry. - Proven success in developing international distributor networks and achieving sales growth targets.
