Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in driving business growth in international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand the company's presence in target markets and achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and prioritize new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to enhance market penetration and generate business leads.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the research process from proposal writing and research design, analysis and interpretation, report preparation and presentation delivery.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, industry associations, and government agencies, to support business objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, trade shows, and expos to promote brand visibility and explore potential collaborations.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and customer preferences, and leverage insights to refine business strategies.
  • Represent IAC at industry conferences, trade fairs, and other events, delivering engaging presentations and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the organization, articulating our mission, values, and accomplishments to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of business development initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development activities, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports for senior management review.
  • Stay updated on relevant industry developments, regulatory changes, and global economic trends to anticipate opportunities and challenges for the business.
  • Identify partnership opportunities and develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand.

Desired profile of the candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience (3 years) in business development, sales, or marketing roles, preferably in international trade, investment, or related industries.
  • Good understanding of business culture in India and International trade practices would be desirable.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing and motivating teams to achieve targets and deliver results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical prowess and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required to represent the company and engage in business development activities.
