Customer Onboarding Specialist

Location: Chennai

Shift: 6pm-3am

Roles and Responsibilities

• Previous experience with B2B SaaS products, APIs, or system integrations is a must
• Guide customers through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
• Document business processes, use cases, and customer scenarios; create clear documentation of functional requirements and implementation tasks to meet customer needs.
• Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements that are easily understood by the engineering team.
• Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide clear direction to the engineering team.
• Provide guidance and best practices to customers to help them maximize value from our products and services.
• Act as a bridge between customers, product management, and engineering to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables.
• Assist in solution design by analyzing customer workflows and recommending process improvements.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where product functionality may need to be enhanced or configured to meet customer requirements.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test cases and validating customer scenarios.
• Track, analyze, and report on customer requirements to inform product enhancements and future roadmap discussions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in customer-facing roles such as engagement, implementation, or onboarding.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Logical and efficient with keen attention to detail.
• Can work with project management tools (e.g., Zoho Projects) and CRM systems (e.g. Zoho, HubSpot).
• Proficiency in documentation and collaboration tools such as MS Excel, Confluence, or similar.
