Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for establishing and nurturing partnerships with hospitals, healthcare providers, and related businesses to generate and convert leads for funeral and Ambulance services. This role focuses on building strong relationships with local vendors, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, approach, and develop tie-ups with hospitals and allied healthcare businesses to create a steady pipeline of service leads.
- Maintain and strengthen ongoing relationships with local vendors and service partners to ensure smooth collaboration and quality service delivery.
- Act as a liaison between the company and partners/vendors, addressing issues and facilitating cooperation.
- Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to convert leads into confirmed service contracts.
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on competitor activities and industry trends.
- Represent Heaven Gate Funeral Care at community or business events to promote services and build brand visibility.
- Support administrative tasks related to onboarding new partners and maintaining records of business development activities.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in sales, business development, or vendor management (preferably in service or healthcare sectors)
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Proactive approach to lead generation and problem-solving
- Knowledge of the funeral services industry is a plus but not mandatory
This role requires empathy, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively in a sensitive industry focused on supporting families during difficult times.
