Job Description – Accounts Assistant

Position: Accounts Assistant

Qualification: B. Com

Experience: 2– 3 Years

Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Working Hours: 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting records (vouchers, invoices, receipts, etc.).
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Assist in preparation of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
  • Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts regularly.
  • Support in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
  • Maintain organized filing of financial records and supporting documents.
  • Assist senior accountants in budgeting, MIS, and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Skills

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP or similar).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
