Role & responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and purchase orders
  • Prepare and record journal entries
  • Support monthly and annual financial closing processes
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Help maintain inventory and stock accounting records
  • Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other tax-related filings
  • Coordinate with internal departments for invoice approvals and documentation
  • Maintain and organize financial documents for auditing purposes
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance department

Preferred candidate profile

  • Post graduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a retail finance environment
