JOB TITLE: BILLING DOCUMENTATION ASSISTANT- MUMBAI (6 MONTH- CONTRACT STAFF)
Overall, Mission:
To assist the Billing teams in clearing the existing backlog of billing and documentation by organizing, verifying, and
submitting invoices and shipment-related documents within defined timelines.
Main Contribution:
- Support in sorting, verifying, and organizing pending billing and invoice documents.
 - Prepare and assist in submission of invoices and supporting documents to clients (physically or via online portals).
 - Cross-check documents such as Delivery Orders, PODs (Proof of Delivery), Temperature Reports, and Work Completion Notes before submission.
 - Coordinate with Operations and Accounts teams to collect missing or incomplete documents.
 - Update and maintain records of invoices submitted and pending in the tracking system or Excel log.
 - Follow up with internal stakeholders for approvals or document clarifications required for billing.
 - Ensure proper filing (soft and hard copies) for audit and compliance purposes.
 - Support in reconciling submitted invoices with accounting data and client acknowledgements.
 - Assist in other administrative or documentation tasks as directed to support backlog clearance.
 
Education - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
Expereince - 0–2 years of experience in documentation or billing support
Language
English, Hindi or any other regional language will be an added advantage.
Specific Experience & Knowledge Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial software.
 - Proficiency in Spreadsheets
 - Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and basic understanding of invoicing processes.
 - Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with deadlines.
 - Good coordination and communication skills.
 - Willingness to handle repetitive documentation tasks efficiently.
