Role Overview
As the
Head of Inside Sales
, you will lead and scale the revenue engine of CentAI. You will build, manage, and optimize a high-performance pre-sales organization that converts leads into customers through a consultative and educational sales process. This role demands strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and the ability to translate healthcare technology into a compelling value proposition for consumers.
You will own the
entire lead-to-revenue funnel
: from system design and team hiring to training, conversion, and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the Inside Sales team responsible for converting high-intent leads into paying customers.
- Design and implement scalable
lead management and CRM systems
, ensuring real-time visibility and accountability across the funnel. - Create and refine sales playbooks, scripts, objection-handling frameworks, and training modules.
- Work closely with marketing and operations to ensure alignment across lead generation, qualification, and customer experience.
- Own the entire revenue target for inside sales and optimize CAC-to-LTV ratios.
- Track and improve conversion metrics across stages: inquiry, consult, booking, and payment.
- Hire, train, mentor, and motivate sales executives and managers to achieve performance excellence.
- Leverage analytics to monitor funnel performance, identify bottlenecks, and continuously improve
- outcomes.
- Champion a consultative selling approach that builds trust and long-term relationships with customers.
Ideal Background
- 8-10 years of experience in
inside sales, pre-sales, or revenue operations
within sectors like - healthtech, edtech, fintech, real estate, or premium B2C services
. - Proven experience in setting up and scaling a consultative sales process for high-ticket or complex products.
- Strong understanding of CRM tools, funnel metrics, conversion optimization, and performance dashboards.
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills; ability to motivate and scale teams across multiple cities
- Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and fluency in both process and persuasion.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and outcome orientation.
