JD:

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

  • Process monthly payroll using HRMS/Payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, GreytHR, etc.)
  • Ensure accuracy in salary disbursements, including earnings, deductions, leaves, and attendance.
  • Maintain payroll records and employee databases.
  • Coordinate with Finance for payroll processing and reconciliation.

Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Professional Tax, LWF, TDS, etc.)
  • File statutory returns (e.g., PF, ESI, TDS) and handle audits/inspections.
  • Keep up to date with labor law changes and implement necessary payroll adjustments.

Compensation & Benefits (C&B):

  • Design and implement C&B structures aligned with market benchmarks.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking, salary reviews, and annual increments.
  • Manage variable pay, performance bonuses, and incentive plans.
  • Handle employee benefits like insurance, medical reimbursements, LTA, etc.

Employee Support & Queries:

  • Act as a point of contact for payroll and benefits-related employee queries.
  • Address issues related to salary discrepancies, tax declarations, reimbursements, etc.
  • Guide employees on tax planning and documentation.

MIS and Reporting:

  • Generate monthly payroll and C&B reports for management.
  • Prepare dashboards for HR metrics related to compensation.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for employee costs.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Indian payroll systems and statutory laws.
  • Proficiency in HRMS/Payroll software (SAP, Oracle, ADP, GreytHR, Zoho, etc.)
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
