Role Overview: The Operations Manager will oversee end-to-end last mile delivery operations, team supervision, client coordination, and process optimization. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in managing field teams, delivery fleets, and ground-level execution.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Operations & Team Management - Manage day-to-day last mile delivery operations across assigned zones - Lead, monitor, and support delivery executives, team leaders, and ground staff - Allocate routes, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure timely deliveries - Track attendance, shift schedules, and performance of field teams

  1. Client Coordination & SLA Compliance - Act as the primary point of contact for client communication - Ensure seamless coordination with client hubs, supervisors, and warehouse points - Monitor delivery SLAs, TAT, and quality metrics - Address escalations and service issues promptly

  2. Recruitment & Onboarding - Coordinate hiring of delivery executives, drivers, and support staff Conduct onboarding, training, and process briefing sessions - Manage documentation, ID creation, and workforce retention

  3. Process & Performance Tracking - Track daily delivery counts, productivity, and route efficiency Implement operational SOPs for quality, safety, and compliance - Monitor fuel usage, attendance, and payout tracking - Maintain MIS reports and dashboards

  4. Payment & Vendor Management - Coordinate payouts, incentive tracking, and attendance corrections - Manage billing inputs and invoice documentation - Maintain relationships with fleet vendors and manpower partners

Required Skills & Qualifications: - 5–8 years of experience in last mile delivery / logistics / e-commerce operations - Strong team leadership and people management skills - Experience handling delivery fleets, TLs, and field executives - Excellent coordination and problem-solving ability - Good knowledge of Mangalore geography and operational hubs - Strong reporting, Excel/MIS, and communication skills Preferred Attributes: - Ability to handle pressure and multi-location operations - Client-facing experience is mandatory - Recruitment and ground operations knowledge - Flexible with field visits and shift-based requirement
