Role Overview : As a Pega Module Lead, you will be a pivotal member of our development team, responsible for driving the development of complex Pega applications. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs. This role requires a strong technical background in Pega, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to best practices. Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development of complex Pega applications, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Drive the design, development, and implementation of Pega solutions based on business requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to Pega best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and analysis sessions.
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment between development teams and stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during development and post-production.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to resolve production incidents.
  • Work closely with Lead System Architects (LSAs) to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Pega frameworks and standards.
  • Ensure optimal performance and scalability of Pega applications.
  • Develop and execute automated unit tests to ensure code quality.
  • Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of development activities.
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Work in an agile environment and deliver functionalities according to sprint goals.

Technical Skills : Core Pega Skills :

  • Proficiency in Pega application development, including case management.
  • Strong understanding of Pega rules and rulesets.
  • Expertise in flow design, connectors, and services (SOAP, REST).
  • In-depth knowledge of data pages, data transforms, authentication, and authorization.
  • Experience with UI design and configuration.
  • Proficiency in version control and rule merging.
  • Strong performance tuning skills.
  • Experience with Tracer and log analysis.
  • Expertise in automated unit testing.
