We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional with 5+ years of experience in commercial operations.

Role requires extensive working in a start up environment with sales, procurement & plant team on all commercial related function ie outstanding management, payments, costing. It requires travelling to plant & field locations and interaction with distributors to ensure compliance on commercial terms

Ability to work hands on in an unstructured environment, proactive in establishing processes, SOPs and proficiency in handling day to day operations & people management is critical for the role

Please note that this role will be groomed to lead & head commercial operations for the organisation in future

Roles & Responsibility

  1. Responsible for handling commercial operations for retail & consumer (D2C) sales required to work closely with field team re demand mgt, collection mgt, costing & asset mgt

  2. Responsible for following up with sales team, distributors & transport for outstanding, crates to ensure timely collection of payments & asset as per terms

  3. Ensuring primary & secondary sales schemes, landing rates & incentives are correctly implemented and monthly ledgers are reconciled with distributors

  4. Working closely with backend customer support & operations team to track & improve D2C consumer collection, retention & consumer sale field team to improve activation metrics

  5. Responsible for preparing costing, performance analysis & reporting and identifying opportunities to improve process efficiency

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Should have strong experience of min 5-7 years in commercial sales function preferably in FMCG or telecom industry

  2. Should have experience & strong expertise in handling & coordinating with field team for daily sales operations related to demand, payment collection, retention & activation performance

  3. Should be good in identification & analysis of problem areas, implementing new processes & SOP, tracking & working on improving performance & efficiency

  4. Working knowledge of advanced excel based reporting (VLOOK UP, PIVOT, SUMIF) is MUST

  5. Education Qualification: BCom/BBA/BTech minimum required with MBA in finance & operations
