Mumbai | Full-Time Leadership Role

Our client, a leading financial services institution, is seeking a
seasoned IT Infra & Cloud leader
to join their Information Technology team as
Assistant Vice President (AVP) / Chief Manager – IT Infrastructure, Cloud & DevOps
.

This is a critical
leadership position
responsible not only for cloud and DevOps strategy but also for managing infrastructure operations, facing regulatory audits, ensuring IT security compliance, and leading a high-performing engineering & support team.

What You'll Do

  • Infrastructure Leadership:
    Lead Infra & IT Operations, including Datacenter, Networks, End-User Computing, and Helpdesk functions.
  • Cloud & DevOps Strategy:
    Define and execute enterprise-wide Cloud & DevOps initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Audit & Compliance:
    Ensure IT infrastructure adheres to RBI/ISO/PCI DSS standards. Manage and represent IT during regulatory & internal audits.
  • Security & GRC:
    Collaborate with InfoSec/CISO functions to enforce security policies and support Governance, Risk & Compliance initiatives.
  • Team Leadership:
    Mentor and scale cross-functional teams across Infra, Cloud, DevOps, and Helpdesk.
  • Innovation & Optimization:
    Drive automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud cost optimization, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience:
    18+ years in IT Infrastructure & Operations, including
    Cloud & DevOps
    , with at least 6+ years in leadership roles.
  • Infra Depth:
    Proven track record of managing Infra & Helpdesk functions as a department head.
  • Audit Familiarity:
    Hands-on experience facing infra/security audits and ensuring IT processes meet compliance standards.
  • Cloud Expertise:
    Strong exposure to Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • BFSI/Regulated Domain:
    Prior experience in BFSI, NBFC, FinTech, or other highly regulated sectors preferred.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Certifications:
    Azure/AWS Cloud Certifications required; ISO 27001/CCSP desirable.
