Eligibility

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and manage all aspects related to the recruitment, administration, and compliance of contract laborer's at our refractory sites.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and labor contractors.
  3. Ensure contract workers receive proper orientation and training before beginning work.
  4. Collaborate with site managers to determine staffing needs and job requirements.
  5. Coordinate the recruitment process, including interviews, selection, and onboarding of contract labor.
  6. Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
  7. Maintain accurate records of contract workers' documentation, including contracts, certifications, and compliance forms.
  8. Address and resolve any legal or compliance issues related to contract labor.
  9. Handle administrative tasks related to contract labor, such as timesheet management, payroll coordination, and benefits administration like ESI and EPF.
  10. Ensure accurate and timely processing of contract worker payroll and benefits.
  11. Ensure that contract workers adhere to site-specific health and safety regulations.
  12. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  13. Act as a liaison between contract workers and management to resolve conflicts or grievances.
  14. Implement performance management systems for contract labor, including setting expectations, conducting reviews, and addressing performance issues.
  15. Implement procedures for addressing and documenting complaints and incidents.
