Bar Manager – Roles and Responsibilities (Crimson Bar)

Core Purpose

To oversee daily operations of Crimson Bar, ensuring smooth service, excellent guest experience, profitability, and continuous business growth while maintaining brand standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management

  • Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards across the bar.

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and schedule bartenders, servers, and support staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching/mentorship.
  • Foster teamwork, professionalism, and a positive workplace culture.

Customer Service

  • Ensure outstanding guest experiences by maintaining high service standards.
  • Build strong rapport with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Resolve guest complaints swiftly and professionally.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Manage ordering, stock rotation, and inventory control of beverages and supplies.
  • Monitor usage to minimize wastage and shrinkage.
  • Track sales, analyze reports, and optimize menu pricing for profitability.

Financial Management

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting bar revenues and expenses.
  • Track daily cash flow, reconcile sales, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and control costs.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing laws, health, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular checks on bar equipment, facilities, and staff certifications.
  • Implement and enforce responsible alcohol service policies.

Marketing & Promotions

  • Collaborate with marketing team on promotions, events, and seasonal offerings.
  • Monitor sales impact of promotions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Build community presence and brand reputation through partnerships and events.

Business Development

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer footfall and revenue.
  • Introduce innovative ideas, signature cocktails, and theme nights to attract guests.
  • Build corporate tie-ups, group bookings, and special events to expand business.
  • Continuously analyze market trends and competitors to stay ahead.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 to 7 years in bar operations/management.
  • Knowledge: Strong in mixology, bar trends, and beverage service.
  • Skills: Good communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35, ₹45,000.00 per month
