Position Overview

The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of quality, and driving profitability. This role involves managing staff, inventory, compliance with safety and licensing regulations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and manage bartenders and support staff.
  • Develop bar menus in collaboration with management, including seasonal cocktails and promotions.
  • Monitor inventory, place orders, and maintain stock control to avoid shortages or wastage.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance of the bar area.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and work towards achieving revenue targets.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to increase footfall and sales.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, expenses, and performance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Head Bartender, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for hospitality.
  • Basic knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred (not mandatory).
  • 3–5 years of experience in bar or F&B management.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced hospitality setting.
  • Requires standing for long periods and occasional lifting of supplies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13, ₹60,000.00 per month
