Job Summary:

The Assistant Bar Manager will assist in managing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring excellent guest service, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the team to achieve operational efficiency and profitability at the Beach Terrace Resort – VGP Heritage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day bar operations ensuring smooth functioning.
  • Assist in planning and implementing beverage menus and promotions.
  • Maintain proper stock control, inventory, and requisitions.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Train, guide, and motivate bar staff to deliver quality service.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints effectively and courteously.
  • Monitor sales performance and support revenue targets.
  • Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and ambience of the bar area.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and restaurant teams for smooth operations.
  • Prepare daily reports and support management in cost control.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / F&B Service or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of experience in bar or restaurant operations, preferably in a resort environment.
  • Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and mixology.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer handling skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
