Bartender – Roles and Responsibilities (Crimson Bar)Core Purpose
To provide excellent customer service by preparing and serving beverages, maintaining bar operations, and ensuring a welcoming experience for all guests.
Key ResponsibilitiesBeverage Preparation & Service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Suggest drinks to guests based on their taste and preferences.
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control.
Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently.
- Build rapport with guests to encourage repeat visits.
- Handle guest complaints politely and escalate to the Bar Manager if needed.
- Promote upselling of premium brands and signature cocktails.
Bar Operations
- Ensure the bar counter, equipment, and glassware are always clean and hygienic.
- Follow standard opening and closing procedures of the bar.
- Maintain cleanliness as per FSSAI and safety norms.
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol in line with local laws.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels of beverages, garnishes, and supplies.
- Assist in stock rotation and reporting shortages to the Bar Manager.
- Prevent wastage, spillage, and misuse of inventory.
Teamwork & Coordination
- Coordinate with servers and support staff for smooth service.
- Assist colleagues during peak hours to maintain efficiency.
- Support training of junior staff when required.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 1–4 years in bartending (cocktail bar/restaurant/lounge experience preferred).
- Knowledge: Strong mixology and beverage preparation knowledge.
- Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Pleasant personality with good customer-handling skills.
- Additional: Knowledge of hygiene and safety practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15, ₹21,000.00 per month
