We are seeking a Learning & Development Manager who can design, implement, and measure the impact of customer training programs, ensuring successful onboarding, adoption, and retention of our software products.This role blends strategic learning program management with hands-on instructional design to deliver engaging, scalable learning experiences to our customers.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in end-to-end training lifecycle management, LMS administration, and instructional design for both technical and process-driven learning. You will identify training needs, develop impactful learning assets, deliver engaging programs, and measure business-aligned outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Strategy & Needs Analysis
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) with product, customer success, and sales teams to identify customer learning gaps.
- Develop a strategic customer learning roadmap aligned with business goals, product releases, and adoption metrics.
- Establish measurable KPIs to track training effectiveness and customer adoption impact.
2. Instructional Design & Content Development
- Apply ADDIE, SAM, and other instructional design models to create effective customer learning materials.
- Develop interactive e-learning modules, video tutorials, user guides, job aids, simulations, and microlearning assets.
- Utilize tools like Articulate 360, Camtasia, Canva, GenAI-based content creation platforms to produce engaging materials.
- Ensure content meets SCORM standards and is optimized for multiple delivery formats.
3. Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Deliver live webinars, virtual workshops, and onboarding sessions for customers.
- Support blended learning journeys by combining self-paced learning with live support.
- Train customer success and support teams to deliver consistent customer training.
4. LMS & Learning Operations Management
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for customer training, including course uploads, scheduling, reporting, and access control.
- Maintain training dashboards to monitor progress, completion rates, and performance analytics.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for training operations.
5. Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Gather customer feedback and usage analytics to refine training content and delivery methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Operations, Customer Success) to align learning initiatives with customer experience goals.
- Explore innovative learning approaches such as gamification, in-app guidance, and AI-powered personalization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training & Development, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in L&D, instructional design, or customer education roles (preferably in SaaS or tech-based environments).
- Expertise in ADDIE, SAM, and other instructional design models.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline/360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
- Strong LMS management experience with proven ability to scale learning programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to simplify technical concepts.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in measuring learning impact (Kirkpatrick Model or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to GenAI-based content creation tools for training.
- Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and learning analytics.
- Experience leading trainer onboarding and Train-The-Trainer (TTT) programs.
